LOL.

"I have in my possesion a false strap on beak. While i am typing this, i am smoking a cigarette, and wearing it"

Why does that not surprise me.......................

Re: Ali in hospital (RiP)
I take that as a compliment of the highest order sir.

I have in my possesion a false strap on beak. While i am typing this, i am smoking a cigarette, and wearing it.

Outside the morn song of many young birds is fulsome and loud.

I type this whilst smoking and emulating a bird. Chirruping like a young keen fucking starling.

Acting like a chaffinch.

Yes Dancer, its bit like getting on your high horse that anyone may think Maradona was better than Pele, or would Messi be the greatest or Cruyff, thing is we will never know as its all about opinion or there from different era’s and then its often debatable, is Messi greater than Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldo edges it for me, but many I suspect would disagree

But refusing to comment and then posting your refusal to post is pathetic to say the least.

Just my opinion of course!

Sydney - Laughable innit, makes him sound like a right baby.

I've always thought that Tyson at his peak would have flattened King Kong if he was in front of him, let alone another human bein., I could be wrong though, I'm most def not a boxing expert and wouldn't pretend to be.

"This is why I refuse to comment on boxing threads on here"

Why is that because other people have opinions you dont like? Get over it FFS, plenty i dont agree with but respect everyone has and is entitled to an opinion no matter how mong like i think it may be.

Bit like was Pele the greatest ever footballer and how dare anyone suggest otherwise, coincidently from the same era as Ali! an era when sporting events really took off on TV, may have something to do with it.

Just my opinion mind.........................

Sorry but I've just skimmed through the thread and saw someone suggesting Tysoe beats Ali?

Really? This is why I refuse to comment on boxing threads on here.

What's incredible is that he served the suspension for three years between the ages of 25 and 28 which you could argue could have been his best years. Just such a shame that he went on too long. BBC tribute tonight mentioned that he couldn't touch his nose with this finger and yet was allowed in the ring with Larry Holmes!!

He was one of a kind. A great man with the courage of his convictions when it came to the Vietnam draft.

He fancied himself as a bit of a poet too. Appearing on Parkinson, he came up with this little gem;

"I like your show, and I like your style, but the pay is so cheap, I won't be back for a while".

conscience won't let me go shoot my brother, or some darker people, or some poor hungry people in the mud for big powerful America. And shoot them for what? They never called me n!&&£r, they never lynched me, they didn't put no dogs on me, they didn't rob me of my nationality, rape and kill my mother and father. Shoot them for what? How can I shoot poor people? Just take me to

Id say Ali in his prime wouldve beateb Pre prison Tyson in the later rounds

HairyHammer 12:41 Sun Jun 5
Re: Ali in hospital (RiP)
Tyson would not have got close to Ali, to mention Tyson in the same breath as Ali is a joke, Ali would have taken him to the tenth round and slapped him silly.

6 foot 3 against 5.11 but 6.3 of brilliance and Intelligence against someone who would have to knock you out within 5 rounds before getting tired and losing.
